Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of an organisation you confirm authority to bind it.

2. The service

SustainMetrics AI provides ESG data ingestion, carbon-footprint calculation and report generation (SECR / SDR / TCFD). Outputs are decision-support, not regulated assurance.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep credentials secure.
• Ensure imported data is lawful and accurate.
• Comply with applicable laws when filing or publishing reports.

4. Subscription & billing

Plans renew until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of VAT. Refunds are at our discretion outside any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

5. Acceptable use

No reverse engineering, scraping, or use that infringes third-party rights or breaches sanctions.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the platform. You retain rights in your workspace data and grant us a licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the service.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude indirect and consequential losses.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach. On termination we delete workspace data after 30 days unless retention is legally required.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction.
